Would you like to eat Durian for Charity?

Salam to all.

My face has become soooooo tebal. Yes, tebal.

Because I have to recite again and again the question above to the shoppers of Subang Parade, each time recieving different answers and gestures.

Some shook their heads, some just do 'don't know' face, some made a 'stoned' face, some just pretend like you're not there.

But wait.

'What is this for?'
'It's for the 'Children's Wish Society'. It helps children who are terminally ill and have no chance of survival..'
'Oooo'

At least there are still someone who is willing to listen to what I'm going to say.. And when that person agrees to join the 'Durian Fest', oh God, you will feel so great!

My slot for the 'Registration' starts at 2.00 p.m and alhamdulillah, finishes before 3.00 p.m. (sebab durian dah habes..)

Anyway, before that, the whole team of volunteers had to pack the mangosteens and the rambutans. (4 mangosteens and 5 rambutans to a pack). I really enjoyed this err.. activity (sorry, couldn't find a better word) because I get to work with my hands, doing things quickly and efficiently..

I have to say, the response from the public is really encouraging (though I wish for more people to be interested in donating money) because the durian actually finished before 3.00 p.m.

Oh yeah, I joined the 'Durian Eating Competition-Ladies category' and I almost win. Almost okay?

If I'm not mistaken, Ustaz won the 'Guys category'.

(Mari buat baik dengan Ustaz nak tak? Mana tau dia bagi something dari hamper dia??)

(Oh God, my head cannot generate sentences right now). Let us all pray for tomorrow's ESL Quiz! -gulp-

Conclusion: Best giler lahhhhhhhhhhhh!
